For me, wellness is when my head is clear, my thoughts are focused and my energy is high. It is when, I can wake up in the morning and take the time to cherish the silence as the rest of the world still sleeps.
Wellness is when I give myself this time to listen to my thoughts and put them in order before the day begins.
Wellness is when I can feel the blood pumping through my body, my muscles strong and my mind filled with creativity after a great workout.
Wellness is when my family is healthy.
Wellness is happiness, when you are engaged in anything you love so much, that you can tune out everything else behind, without a care in the world.
Wellness is love: both giving and receiving it.
So, if you thought I was going to talk about health - I am.
Health is wellness and wellness is your health. When you have one, you have the other. Wellness is the broad concept of what makes us tick, what gets you up in the morning to face another day - no matter the challenges.
What does wellness mean to you?
